Hello! I'm Melissa Qin!

I’m a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University. I major in Communications Design, and am pursuing minors in Product Management and HCI. You can find me cafe hopping, reading books that make me cry, or driving around to my "pretty princess pop" playlist.

I use design to understand the world and its inhabitants and to tell their stories. Easily inspired and easily attached, I fall a little bit in love with everything around me. Strengthened by my fine arts background, I strive to create visual points of connection. I hope to design with both empathy and charm.
